Last Day at Psych Convention & Flight Back

I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning (4:30 U.S time) to practice for my presentation at the "International Psychology Symposium" that was at 8. I brought my peanut butter pretzel Mojo bar, some black coffee, and freshly squeezed OJ down to the lobby where I was able to practice for a bit.
My presentation went really well, even better than I thought it would. All of our hard work seemed to pay off. Afterwards me and the rest of the research team headed down to the pool where I was able to bask in the sun for a few hours. I convinced the waitress at the pool to see if they could make me a burrito- I ended up with this beast.

Burrito with black beans, guacamole, and lettuce, w/ a side of fries. I never order fries but if someone else has them I always steal them (just ask my boyfriend). I didn't order the fries this time either, but even though I tried to give some away I couldn't resist eating most of them. Burritos & fries are two of my weaknesses. It was nice to finally have a real meal in Cancun, even if it meant that I had to pig out in my bikini.
Finally I had to say adios to Mexico and travel the five hours back by plane to LA. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I was to see a Starbucks in the Cancun airport. I left all of my luggage in line w/ my teacher and went to go grab an iced coffee asap.

I was really grateful for this coffee because the line ended up taking us an hour!
Luckily though once we finally got on the plane the flight was not bad at all. I finished my book and was able to get some studying done for finals. I bought the "luxe snack pack" which I was really impressed with.

Basil & Garlic olives, Multigrain tortilla chips, Grissiti bread sticks, whole wheat crackers, and an adorable package of hummus. It also contained chocolate covered pretzels and a rondelle cheese spread which I gave away.
I didn't get home until 11:30 tonight, I am sooo tired it's been a 20 hour day. I have a really sore throat so I made myself some an Annie Chun's odon noodle soup.
I thought this cute Hello Kitty card my roommate Diane bought me in San Fran went with the soup perfectly. I love Hello Kitty!
